Lo más horrible de esta situación no era el sufrimiento emocional o físico sino que la condenación, por cuanto éramos hijos de la desobediencia. No podemos echarle la culpa a nadie, nosotros escogemos nuestro propio destino, nosotros decidimos que es lo que hacemos con lo que Dios nos da, y aunque algunas situaciones nos provocan hacer el mal, finalmente nosotros mismo somos quienes escogemos ese camino.
En esto se manifestó el amor de Dios a nosotros, que envió a su unigénito hijo para que el pudiera pagar el precio de nuestro pecado, y con solo creer en el sacrificio en la cruz, nos hace salvos. “Porque tanto amó Dios al mundo, que dio a su Hijo unigénito, para que todo el que cree en él no se pierda, sino que tenga vida eterna.” Juan 3:16
¿Por qué necesito reconciliarme?
Nuestra condición precaria de pecadores nos apartaba del padre, en nuestro pecado nos desviamos del camino de Dios y nos entregamos a las pasiones de nuestra propia carne y no solo las hacíamos sino que nos complacíamos en ellas, la biblia nos dice que este es el estado natural del hombre sin Dios “estando atestados de toda injusticia, fornicación, perversidad, avaricia, evil, full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, malignity, whisperers, slanderers, haters of God, insolent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, foolish, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving, unmerciful; Although they know the ordinance of God, that those who practice such things deserve death, they not only do them but also approve of those who practice them.
