F lexibility

In the last post I talked about what does not change. I talked about character, values and beliefs. That is paramount. But ... enough? I think not! Because apart from identifying what is not change (the drive), leaders need to understand what does change (the flexible).

A leader must be able to communicate and defend their vision and values with firmness (stiffness). And appreciate the diversity of talents, values and visions of others (flexibility).

flexibility in the exchange line. Things change. The problems change. The skills and competencies of leaders must adapt to these changes. People change. Organizations change. Responsibilities change. We live in a rapidly changing world and that the leaders demand a high tolerance for change or what I call: flexibility.
